Parkers Prairie scored twice in the fourth quarter to defeat Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 36-22 Friday night.
The game was even through the first three quarters, with the score tied at 6-6, 14-14 and 22-22.
In the fourth, the Panthers scored on a 17-yard touchdown pass, followed by a fumble recovery in the end zone for the winning points.
Parkers Prairie had 334 total yards (156 rush/178 pass) compared to 276 (238/36) for the Saints.
Brandin Dahl scored on touchdown runs of 5, 6 and 5 yards for KMS. Dahl rushed 38 times for 191 yards. Caleb Collins was 4-of-9 for 29 yards, but was intercepted three times. Dahl, Rylan Hatlestad 1-15, Josh Peterson and David Gordon each had one reception.
The Panthers’ Harry Samuelson passed for 139 yards and three touchdowns and had one touchdown reception on a pass from Andrew Johnson. Travis Yohnke scored twice and finished with four receptions for 89 yards. Joe Hewitt led the ground game with 46 yards on 11 carries.
Dahl led the Saints defense with six solo tackles. Hatlestad and Wyatt Jones had five apiece. Hatlestad also had an interception, while Israel Rodriguez had a fumble recovery and one quarterback sack.
