Balanced Scoring Attack Leads C-T-F Past Lady Comets

The Campbell-Tintah-Fairmount girls basketball team placed three players in double figures as their balanced scoring attack led them to a 50-40 win over Hillcrest Lutheran Academy on Saturday in Fergus Falls.
Sammi Schmit scored 13 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the Lady Rebels. Joining her in double digits were Tiffany Ross with 12 points and Sami Hensch with ten points. Laura Luick contributed with nine rebounds, three steals, three assists and four points.
C-T-F was dominant on the boards, pulling down 39 rebounds to only 16 for Hillcrest. The Rebels made 38% (19/51) of their field goal attempts and hit 10-of-17 from the foul line (60%).
C-T-F is now 6-14 on the season. They will host Rothsay on Tuesday night and Ashby on Friday night to close out the regular season schedule.
