Wolverines Lose in Four to C-T-F

By Craig Olson - Campbell, MN

On Monday night the Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines traveled to Campbell for a high school volleyball match against the Rebels of Campbell-Tintah-Fairmount.  The Wolverines fell to the Rebels in four games 25-20, 22-25, 25-20, 25-22.
"After losing game one, we fought back to take game two," said Head Coach Shantelle Findlay. "We hustled and picked up well-placed balls to rally back and win.  Games three and four were also close.  Our offense is coming around as our setters are finding our hitters who are ready to attack."
Kyrsten Karsky (12 set assists) and Kaitlyn Nordly (11 set assists) keyed the attack which was led by Molly Taffe with 10 kills.  Mallory McNally added 5 kills and 3 blocks, while Tracy Martig and Stacy Hiedeman each had 5 kills.
