Freetly Competes In Class A Boys’ Meet

Keiser Freetly, a freshman on the Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd boys’ cross country team, competed in Saturday at the Class A Boys’ State Cross Country Meet at St. Olaf College in Northfield.

Freetly placed 54th out of 176 finishers with a time of 17:07.

Senior Shane Streich of Waseca earned the gold by finishing in 15:46.4, Isaac Overmeyer of Park Rapids Area (16:00.4) was second,  while Billy Beseman (16:04.1) of Perham was third

Mora won the Class A Boys’ team title with 104 points.  Martin County West placed second with 108.  Glencoe-Silver Lake was third with 117 points and Perham finished fourth with 160.
